Now that’s more like it.

WWE kept Raw moving Monday night, providing decent matches (they felt shorter than they had been recently) and several solid backstage segments and overall angles. It’s rare when all parts click really well, but it looks like they figured out how to do it right this week. Hopefully, this is the start of a trend that will carry over for the next few weeks.

Raw followed up after the Women’s Championship match closed out the program by opening with Sasha Banks and Charlotte, which set up a major match at Hell in a Cell and a marquee matchup on Raw. It looks like history is going to be made in women’s wrestling, with Sasha and Charlotte competing inside HIAC for the first time.

Even though the PPV is three weeks away, we now know that there will be at least three matches taking place inside the cell. Things are actually lining up pretty well for Raw for a change.

Still, while this was a good episode of Raw, it continues to drag with the third hour. Even slicing a half-hour off would make a huge difference, but instead, we get three hours plus an overrun. It’s enough to drive a sane man crazy.

So what squashed the competition and what needs a better hashtag? Let’s get to it…
