10 Ups And 6 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (Oct 10)
9. More Competition
To those who thought that the squash matches were a waste during the past couple months, now we’re seeing the benefit of them, as even Braun Strowman has grown tired of them.
The mountain of a man demanded more suitable competition last week, threatening GM Mick Foley with dire consequences if he didn’t produce. He responded by booking a 2-on-1 match Monday, which Strowman won in quick fashion (throwing a running double dropkick in the process). Braun then took the mic to demand real competition, noting that lining up 20 jobbers would result in 20 bodies stacked on the mat.
It feels like we’re getting close to the tipping point of Strowman matching up against someone on the roster, but it’s progressing nicely. Maybe next week’s competition will be a little bigger.
