10 Ups And 8 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (April 5)

9. Tag Team Renaissance Coming?

If you didn€™t catch it Monday, WWE announced three €œnew€ tag teams joining the main roster, which should bolster the tag ranks and freshen up the division considerably.

First up, Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady debuted and punked the Dudley Boyz, putting them on the map right away. Fellow NXT tag team the Vaudevillains had a vignette announcing their arrival on Smackdown. It€™ll be interesting to see whether they are treated as a serious team or just a comedy act that goes the way of the Ascension quickly.

Lastly, you might have missed it because it felt like an advertisement for Puerto Rico, but Primo and Epico look like they€™re back, as they were on screen without their Los Matadores masks talking about the beauty of their Caribbean island. It€™s not clear when they€™ll return to action, but they should add another steady team to the tag ranks when they do.

One can only hope that we€™ll see an improvement in competition in the tag team division, as tag champs New Day have been feuding with the heatless League of Nations for a couple months now. Any changes would likely be improvements.
