10 Vince McMahon Moments Netflix WON’T Talk About

3. Choking Out Stephanie

Another question you absolutely will not hear is, 'Hey Vince, remember when you choked your own daughter out with a steel pipe on live pay-per-view?'. At No Mercy 2003, McMahon infighting went to another level when Vince and Stephanie waged war in an intergender bout that went heavy on the stipulations.

It carried both 'I Quit' and 'Loser Gets Fired' clauses. WWE even added in a sneaky stip that said Steph could win by pinning her father, because (y'know) "weaker sex" and all that. Man, it's amazing that Vince Russo had been out of WWE for four years by this point. He'd have loved this sh*t.

Again, this fan doesn't mean to savage the drama on offer. It was over-the-top, but it wasn't any wilder than anything else happening at the time. Wrestling fans in 2020 might not look favourably on the image of a muscled-up Vince squeezing the life from his own child's body though.

This is one today's sponsors don't need to see.
