10 Vince McMahon WWE Creations Triple H Must Destroy
3. Most Other Gimmick Match PPVs
Once he puts a thick line of red pen through MITB, Triple H should turn his attention to some of the other annual gimmick bouts that have been turned into commonplace supershows. Of course, traditional powerhouse Royal Rumble should be the sole survivor, but Hell In A Cell, Money In The Bank and Extreme Rules should p*ss off.
Now, here's where it gets tricky. The actual match-types themselves these events frame around don't need to disappear. HIAC is fine when it comes at the end of a blood feud, ladder matches can be fun distractions and ultra-violent brawls are a tried-and-tested chapter for feisty rivalries too.
Scheduling them on the calendar ahead of time though? Big, fat nah to that.
WWE putting Wrestler A vs. Wrestler B inside the once-proud cage just because it happens to be June or October (depending on the year) is unforgivably trite. Such bouts should be born organically, not hastily-arranged just because that's what the schedule says.
