1. Barrett Wins The Title With Interference From The Anglo-Celtic Alliance
The UK SummerSlam PPV would be one of the highlights of the year. Wed see Sheamus and Neville defend their singles titles before a dubious win for the tag-team titles (pulling a double shift is good enough for Daniel Bryan so itd be good enough for these two). Hell, we might even see a returning Drew McIntyre pulling off some interference for the tag-team win (cheap pop and potential new recruit). What would make this PPV work is backstage locker room preparations. Make it like a boxing PPV which shows the fighters getting ready. Warming-up, preparing, discussing tactics. As the night went on, the crowd would get louder and louder and, although we all know the noise in an arena is louder than a stadium (due to the lack of a roof) imagine Punk and Chicago only its Barrett and Wembley as BNB walks down the ramp for his date with destiny. The match would be a mixture of high energy power moves and Cena deliberately spoiling (hed be the heel in this situation so he might as well go all out) with mat holds and submission moves. Eventually, the pace would pick up as both men set up finishers and land big blows. Cena is about to land his second Attitude Adjustment, no doubt for the win, when the Anglo-Celtic Alliance appear and circle the ring, hell, even Drew McIntyre is down there now. The crowd cheer as visions of the Nexus and Shield begin to appear but, no need, Barrett has climbed to the top rope and hits the most powerful Bull Hammer of his career for the 1...2...3. Regal enters the ring and lifts the hand of the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion and the three other members enter too, lay all of the titles on the canvas and lift the new champion aloft as the 80,000 crowd sing champion-ney champion-ney. The PPV goes off the air and finally (finally!) UK and Ireland fans can forgive the WWE for the Network travesty of 2014 and celebrate long into the night.
