10 Ways To Book John Cena Vs Brock Lesnar At WWE SummerSlam 2014

How to make Cena/Lesnar II top the original.

WWE.comWWE.comWWE fans were sent into a frenzy last week when an image of the Summerslam 2014 DVD cover leaked online featuring Brock Lesnar and the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion John Cena. While a Cena victory at Money In The Bank seemed inevitable, the poster killed any dream booking scenarios which involved someone besides Cena pulling down the two championship titles. The groundwork for the summer feud between the conqueror of the streak and the now 15-time World Champion was set on this week's episode of Monday Night Raw. The Authority gave Cena two options if they were going to support him as champion: the easy way, or the hard way. Since Cena is a fighting champion and seems to overcome the odds each night, he took the hard way and now there is a fatal-four-way match for the championship at Battleground. Cena will defend against Randy Orton, Kane and Roman Reigns. Triple H mentioned that if Cena were to be victorious at Battleground there is always a "Plan B." While the fans are under the impression that Plan B is Seth Rollins cashing in his Money In the Bank Briefcase against Cena, they are mistaken. Plan B is the man who stopped the undefeated streak of the immortal Undertaker at Wrestlemania 30. (Paul Heyman has mentioned this a few times) These two are no strangers to one another. Both Cena and Lesnar debuted in the WWE in 2002, three months apart in the "Ruthless Aggression Era." Cena was the young upstart heel with his thug-a-nomics gimmick and Lesnar burst upon the scene destroying everything in his path and would go on to have one of the best rookie years in wrestling history. Fast forward ten years to Extreme Rules 2012. This is the last time Cena and Lesnar wrestled. The extreme rules match headlined the PPV and Cena won the match, but Lesnar dominated the up until the very end. This feud started the night after Wrestlemania when Cena, fresh off the loss to The Rock was in the ring and to the surprise of everyone, it was a returning Brock Lesnar. Over the next few weeks, Lesnar and Cena would get physical and Lesnar forgot he wasn't in the octagon and left Cena with a bloody mouth following a punch from the former UFC Heavyweight Champion. Many were upset that Cena went over in their last encounter. Fast forward again two years and we find ourselves on the brink of Cena/Lesnar II. The common phrase "history repeats itself" won't apply here. Get ready for the unstoppable WWE Championship reign of Brock Lesnar. Here's how it will all go down.
