Ask anybody to draw what they think a professional wrestler would look like, and they are going to draw a gigantic, muscle-bound freak show of a man 99 out of 100 times. They will also tend to bloviate about how all wrestlers are "on steroids" and how they "abuse drugs and alcohol".

However, if they were to look at a guy like CM Punk, they would see that this is categorically untrue.

Just looking at Punk, one can tell that he is none of the things that non-wrestling fans accuse wrestlers of being. For one, he's built his entire character around being straight-edge. So not only does he not do drugs nor alcohol, but he also doesn't do steroids. Furthermore, though not unfit by any stretch, he's certainly not a jacked-up meathead. Comparative to folks like Hulk Hogan and The Rock, Punk has a much more modest and attainable physique. His impressive list of accolades proves that wrestlers don't need to look like real-life superheroes in order to achieve success, and since then we've seen guys like Daniel Bryan, Kevin Owens, and Adam Cole (baybay) rise to incredible heights in WWE.
