10 Ways CM Punk Will Just Make WWE BETTER

8. Blurred Lines Of Reality

Wrestling fans have long been savvy to the fact that what they're watching may not exactly be 100% real. As such, it takes something truly special to convince those fans that, while wrestling is all a work, this part might actually be real.

As soon as Cult of Personality hit and CM Punk strolled out at the close of the 2023 Survivor Series, it took merely a matter of seconds for the lines to be blurred as to what was real and what was simply part of the show.

Was Punk really supposed to be at Survivor Series? Did anybody in the PLE main event know the Second City Saint would be appearing? Was Seth Rollins really so infuriated that the Chicagoan would dare to return to WWE? And was Drew McIntyre likewise so furious that he stormed to the back and angrily exited the Allstate Arena?

Of course, all of this was and is a work; CM Punk was booked to appear at Survivor Series, those in the main event had been made aware ahead of time, Rollins' expletive-laden tirade was part of the act, and any McIntyre irritation wasn't caused just because WWE had signed the Straight-Edge Superstar.

Still, where CM Punk is concerned, the actions of him and those interacting with him often throw up questions of whether what we're watching is a lot more than just what was in the script.
