The ongoing Shane McMahon vs. The Miz saga has over-delivered. From their initial union as a tag team and subsequent run with the SmackDown belts, to Shane's betrayal and the off-the-rails fun of their WrestleMania 35 trainwreck, this big, dumb pantomime has been a real popcorn-grabber, and they'll probably craft something enjoyable at Money In The Bank, too. Maybe 'The Best In The World' will try a Coast to Coast from the top of the cell, or perhaps George Mizanin will knock him out: either way, big banter is almost guaranteed.

As perversely entertaining as the rivalry has been, though, it must come to an end at Money In The Bank, particularly if WWE are to keep viewers interested in babyface Miz.

As a McMahon, Shane will always draw go-away heat from certain sects of the crowd. That this storyline has been going on for so long has amplified that fatigue, so wrapping it up with a Miz victory and allowing 'The A-Lister' to move onto something more substantial is the answer, particularly if it means Shane going away from television for a while.
