That Daniel Bryan and Rowan will defend the newly-won SmackDown Tag Team Championships on Money In The Bank's Kickoff Show is criminal, but hardly surprising. Vince McMahon hates his duos divisions. He sees no value in the artform and relegating the last WWE Champion to this lowly position is proof, with Bryan set to muck it up, presumably, with the Cruiserweights and that god-awful pre-PPV panel.

It's time to change that.

Bryan and Rowan versus The Usos will play out on the Kickoff. That shouldn't prevent it from becoming a catalyst, though. A banger pre-show bout, the likes of which Jimmy and Jey have specialised in throughout their WWE careers, would be a great start, as would Bryan and Rowan unveiling their new eco-friendly straps on the night. From there, Daniel and his big, burly partner can have a reign mirroring that which the 38-year-old had with the WWE Championship, elevating the division and everybody in it at the same time.

Competition is a concern, and it speaks volumes that a Raw tandem are challenging for SmackDown's gold at MITB. Regardless, Bryan and Rowan make good centerpieces.
