The upcoming video game WWE 2K15 is getting promoted now, and in the year before we saw Ultimate Warrior return to promote WWE 2K14, a game where you could play as The Ultimate Warrior if you pre-ordered. Perhaps Sting is this years answer to Ultimate Warrior, and his arrival has nothing to do with actually wrestling, but rather hes just there to show a trailer for the upcoming game where he shows up as a downloadable character. If Stings return was just a marketing ploy to get fans to buy a video game, would anyone really be all that surprised? Theres also talk of a Sting documentary being created, so maybe that will get plugged as well. WWE has been cutting back quite a bit ever since losing all those millions, and now they need to focus on ways to generate more income without sacrificing any in the process. Using the Sting name to shill some products is one way to go about it.
