So, instead of facing Jushin Liger at NXT Takeover, Tyler Breeze should ACTUALLY be facing Samoa Joe. The idea that Breeze wanted world-renowned competition and Regal didn't respond with an angry, ass-kicking legend like Joe is intriguing. Jushin Liger being on Takeover is fine. Even better than Liger versus Tyler Breeze is say, Liger showing up, but not wrestling, and offering an opportunity to be WWE's first New Japan representative to the wrestler that impresses him the most. Breeze taking Joe to the limit, losing and impressing Liger with his fire -- but having Breeze be willing to go to Japan but less than impressed with Liger -- could actually start an inter-continental feud worth watching. Breeze vs. Liger isn't the "dream" or "money" match scenario for Liger. However, Joe vs. Breeze would be a great breakout for two wrestlers who need one in WWE.
