6. Acknowledge His NXT History
This seems highly unlikely considering the recent rebrand of NXT, but an easy way to make Kross feel important is to look back on his past in the Black and Gold brand.
Kross was an unstoppable force on that show. He destroyed Tommaso Ciampa, Finn Balor, and Kyle O'Reilly just to name a few. If this was brought up on RAW it would make Kross feel more like a threat. As it stands now, Kross is just a guy who debuted on the main roster. There was no connective tissue between his time in NXT and his time on the main roster.
Following the 2021 Draft, Finn Balor is now on RAW, the same brand as Kross. That is an open goal! These two performers have a lot of history in NXT so why not reference this? It doesn't have to be a repeat of their NXT feud, but actually drawing upon their past adds more mythology to the characters, thus making Kross feel more special.
