10 Ways To Make WWE Smackdown A ‘Must-See’ Show Again

1. Debuts

Think about all the WWE wrestling debuts that have happened recently. The Shield and Rusev first appeared at a PPV. The Wyatt Family, Adam Rose, Bo Dallas, Xavier Woods and Paige all showed up on Raw first. Smackdown€™s notable debut in the past year-plus? Fandango. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pLkfhKreMWI NXT seemingly is about ready to €œgraduate€ another €œclass€ of wrestlers up to the main roster, with the Ascension, Adrian Neville and Sami Zayn impressing and progressing about as far as they can in development. And there are several recent high-profile signings €“ such as KENTA (Hideo Itami), Kevin Steen and Prince Devitt (Finn Balor) €“ who could be called up at some point in the near future. So why not have some of these up-and-coming stars debut on Smackdown? One of the things that WWE still does really well is putting together solid video packages and vignettes. The introductory videos for the Wyatts and Adam Rose were about as different as could be, but both stood out and painted a vivid picture of each. A video package on Raw for a few weeks hyping the debut of the Man Who Gravity Forgot on Smackdown could get fans to flip the channel over to the Blue Brand. And even though it€™s taped, if Neville has a great match, that could be hyped just the same to spur interest. What combination of these 10 ideas would you implement to boost Smackdown€™s standing?
