Sooner or later, WWE has to learn how to produce WWE programming without relying on a weekly Authority figure to take all the heat away from the wrestlers. Luckily, once The Authority are written off of TV, there's one man for the job and his name is Daniel Bryan. D-Bry doesn't need to be on every RAW and every SmackDown, but as WWE Commissioner, it allows Bryan to have a semi regular role on WWE TV where he can appear in front of the audience, make the matches that the crowd wants to see and with his history in Anger Management and as The Dazzler, there's the potential for some great backstage segments with heels trying to outsmart Bryan and him managing to get the better of them without physicality. Bryan Danielson made an incredibly brave decision to walk away from what he loves at the peak of his career due to head injuries, but the fans love the Daniel Bryan character, and it feels like this role would be the best fit for him and would add an element of fun to the shows that's been missing for far too long.
