10 Ways To Successfully Challenge The Undertaker At WrestleMania
6. Steal The Urn (Million Dollar Corporation - WrestleMania XI)
The mid-90's was a strange time to be a WWF/WWE fan - the company was noticeably light on star power, something which younger fans may be able to identify with today. As a consequence of this lack of true headliners, King Kong Bundy was brought back into the mix, and put up against Undertaker at WrestleMania XI. During the build to the match, Bundy's stable, the Million Dollar Corporation, would steal the mystical urn from the grasp of Paul Bearer, presumably snatching The Undertaker's supernatural ability to draw power from the object as a result. Ted DiBiase, the leader of the corporation, had earlier attempted to destroy 'Taker with his own phenom, but stealing the urn was treated like a bigger deal even than that. Without his powers, how could The Undertaker summon strength to defeat the mammoth Bundy? As history dictates, he did come out on the winning side, but this idea added a nice element to the feud, and papered over the cracks somewhat that the aging King Kong Bundy was going up against a legitimate main event player, years after the prime of his career.
