10 Ways Triple H's WWE Dream Became A Complete Nightmare

The title of this article refers to Triple H’s dream job
becoming a nightmare. Consider where we started in July 2022, with Vince ousted
and Triple H remaking WWE over the course of a few months.
It wasn’t all roses for him (as documented throughout), but the improvements were real, and the quality of the product increased. But bad habits learned after spending decades under Vince’s tree kept popping up. Then McMahon found his way back and inserted himself to the point where recent reports make it sound like as much effort goes into “Vince-proofing” the shows as they do writing and executing a compelling program.
And yet, every arena WWE inhabits is filled to the rafters. The dead crowds very recently have started to come to life. Ratings are solid. The product itself is hot, regardless of what critics might say about the overall quality of the shows. PLEs have largely delivered. SummerSlam might be another big success story in a few short days.
But all is far from idyllic for the crown prince, who finally got to show what he could do in charge, only to face booking challenges, see the company sold, and watch some of his reforms be undone remotely.
As a grade, you’d have to give Triple H a solid B+ (ironically)
for his genuine efforts and real results. But there are other challenges and
forces at play here. Sometimes your dream job comes with unseen strings
attached.
