Understandably, neither WrestleMania Axxess nor WrestleCon will take place next month as planned. Featuring wrestlers from WWE and countless other promotions, events like these give fans the chance to get up close and personal with the stars they watched as a kid or still do on TV each week.

For obvious reasons, that's not going to be possible for a while, and even though the hope is that life will soon return to normal, it could be years before this is a problem we no longer have to worry about.

With that in mind, companies like WWE and AEW are unlikely to want to risk the health of their Superstars by having them come in contract with hundreds, if not thousands, of fans in a short space of time. As sad as it is to say, this crisis could be a problem for years to come, and wrestling remains one of only a small number of sports where meet and greets like this are possible.

To best safeguard athletes, don't be surprised if these companies limit these mass meet ups (though we do worry what that could mean for an independent event like WrestleCon).
