10 Ways WWE Are Currently Catering To Hardcore Fans
4. Pushing Cesaro
I'm going to temper my expectations a bit here because unfortunately we've seen this one before. Every time it feels like we're right on the cusp of greatness with Cesaro something happens to shuffle him back down to the midcard where he's stuck having outstanding albeit insignificant matches.
When it comes to strictly in-ring performances, Cesaro may very well be the most gifted worker in the entire company.
Between his insane displays of strength, impressive athleticism and unique moveset, he's one of the most enjoyable guys to watch in the industry. The springboard spinning forearm is a true thing of beauty and I never get tired of what is likely the most awesome move in the business.
If the last few weeks are any indication, WWE has finally realised what they have with Cesaro and are going to continue to push him into the upper tier of the card until he finally gets a shot at being a main eventer.
The work is there, the crowd is behind him, he's got a great look and he can have a terrific match with anybody. And it appears they've found a character that works by giving him The Transporter/James Bond gimmick.
Cesaro should absolutely be a top guy. The fans have been demanding it and it appears that WWE are acquiescing.
