8. Trish Stratus & Lita vs Becky Lynch & Paige
What better way to essentially reboot the women's division (can they start calling it that instead? The 'Divas Division' sounds like a pageant) than by bringing in two Hall of Famers to officially pass the torch to the next generation? They were part of the only women's match to ever main-event Monday Night Raw and it wouldn't be a stretch to call them two of the most popular female wrestlers of all time. Trish Stratus and Lita are both legends in their own rights and at the respective ages of 39 and 40, both ladies definitely have one more match in them. While it would probably make more commercial sense in terms of buyrates to book Trish and Lita against heel Bellas, simply put, in terms of in-ring potential, that's lacklustre at best. If you really want to make this match a draw, both of name talent and workmanship (workwomanship), pit Stratus and Lita against Becky Lynch and Paige. Unlike the Bellas, Paige and Lynch both embody the physical daredevilry and alternative look of Lita, with the fearsome scrappiness and glamour of Stratus. Both ladies have proven time and again in NXT that they are fantastic workers, and more than able to prop up a Brand New Divas Division, and what better endorsement can there be than validation from "the besties"?
