Let's just think back to SummerSlam 2019 when The Fiend made his way to the ring for the first time. The music, the lighting and that lantern made for one of the best character debuts in WWE's long history. From there, the mystique of The Fined has been chipped away again and again, until now we have nothing.

The Fiend has been missing from our screens since the Raw following his loss at WrestleMania 37 and it seems there is no direct path for the character yet. So now is about the right time to start the teases. Similar to his debut at SummerSlam 2019, have some video packages and some Firefly Funhouse segments on RAW and SmackDown to build up to the match.

But who should The Fiend squash?

There are a lot of challengers on WWE's main roster who could step up to Bray Wyatt. That being said, they need to be capable of taking this loss. An ideal candidate would be Drew McIntyre.

If Drew has stepped away from the main title scene, then having him challenge The Fiend would be a terrific encounter. Bray could play off Drew's recent losses and add some more psychologically into their match, all ending with The Fiend squashing one of WWE's biggest stars.
