10 Ways WWE Can Shake Up RAW
2. Push The Women
A simple enough idea, yet one that WWE still doesn't quite understand. There is more to pushing a division than focusing on the main event feud as the rest of the roster twiddles its thumbs in the background. Five years on from a clear change in direction when it came to booking the women, WWE hasn't really progressed beyond one story at a time.
Case in point is the state of affairs going into WWE TLC. RAW's women are featured in one match, as RAW Women's Champion Asuka looks for a partner to take on Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax for the Women's Tag Team Championships. Depressingly, this isn't the first time this year that both singles and tag titles have been condensed into one feud. RAW has 13 active women on its roster. There's no excuse for this type of booking.
WWE needs to catapult itself into the modern world and bring the women to the fore. That doesn't mean paying attention to one story and leaving the rest of the women on the side. It means a top to bottom roster with a clear creative direction. It'll do RAW the world of good.
