10 Ways WWE Can Still Salvage 2019

3. Turn Seth Rollins Heel

Now, back to a point hinted at earlier in this list: Seth Rollins' babyface run is dead and buried.

You cannot deny that he has the in-ring chops and look of a man who is suited to being the top guy in any company. It's just a shame that he hasn't been booked or made to feel that way at any point during his tenure on top of the WWE mountain.

Be it through ill-advised smarmy Twitter posts, cheesy on-screen dialogue or the string of crappy programmes that were referenced earlier, Rollins has never been put in a position where fans can honestly feel sympathy or root for him. Instead, we now feel frustration at his confusing character or even worse, apathy.

If you want to revive one of the most charismatic performers of a generation, there's only one solution: turn him back heel.

Have him lose the title to 'The Fiend' or one of the other viable contenders on Raw. That in turn can drive Rollins to desperate measures in order to recover his belt and pride, before eventually pushing him into the realm of dastardly heel.

The seeds are there from Hell in a Cell onwards if WWE wanted to go down this route and it wouldn't require the Beastslayer to regain his gold either, freeing up some space at the top of the card for a few stars-to-be on Raw.

Heel Rollins made for some excellent television first time round and a second run could reignite an ailing character and main event scene in the process.
