10 Ways WWE Is Completely Unrecognisable From Just One Year Ago

2. The First Ever EMPTY ARENA WrestleMania!

It's being dwelled upon a lot, but this is huge.

WrestleMania XI turned a car park into a toga party, WrestleMania XI went down in an arena roughly positioned in the corner of a mall and WrestleMania VII had to abandon plans to run a 100,000-seater coliseum because of "safety concerns" (and also "sh*t, we haven't sold any tickets" concerns), but never has the 'Show Of Shows' taken place in front of absolutely nobody.

Allegedly set to occur in multiple venues (though the specifics are yet to be revealed as of writing), the different setups will nonetheless have one thing in common - that there'll be nobody in any of them. The fantasy bookers have put Becky Lynch and Shayna Baszler in a cage, Bray Wyatt and John Cena in the Firefly Fun House and AJ Styles and The Undertaker at the Calaway/McCool household with that f*cking tiger in the pool, but the audience will be the same regardless of the Street Fighter-style situ.

When Lawrence Taylor competed in the main event at the aforementioned 1995 edition of the 'Show Of Shows', the tagline on his t-shirts went "Never Before. Never Again". Vince McMahon must be hoping he can apply that to this year's event too.

At least clean up the final version...
