Sting versus The Undertaker; it's perhaps the single biggest dream match in the history of professional wrestling, on par with Ric Flair versus Hulk Hogan. For years, fans have speculated about what would happen if these two legends squared off in the ring. What would the match look like? Who would go over? Would it even happen in the first place? Now that both men are on the WWE payroll, the fact is this match needs to happen. Recent pics circulating online depict Taker as a frail old man, someone that perhaps has no business stepping back into the ring regardless of who his opponent is. Indeed, many feel that the ship has already sailed on this dream match as it will remain just a dream. However, that simply cannot happen. WWE must find a way to get this match booked and The Deadman must find a way to physically prepare for it. It's not a bout that would require high flying or be aggressively brutal in nature; it's a straight up pro wrestling match between two old pros. Not making this match a reality before both men retire would be a crime; fans have waited a lifetime for it to happen. WWE dropped the ball when it had both Hogan and Flair under contract together the first time by not putting them in the ring and now it has a chance to get it right.
