10 WCW Managers You Totally Don’t Remember

5. Shakira

No, not that Shakira.

Unlike the Colombian singer who crooned about shaking hips (and everything else), WCW's Shakira was one of Scott Steiner's "freaks" during the late-90s and into 2000. Curiously, she'd disappear from Scott's side and be totally outshone by Midajah when she was around.

Does Shakira qualify as a manager then? Well, yes. She did hang around ringside during Steiner's matches, and did run interference for 'Big Poppa' Pump' for a while. It wouldn't last; the story goes that Vince Russo wanted Shakira to start training to wrestle at WCW's Power Plant. She refused, and that was the end of her run in the company.

After that, Midajah started getting even more involved in Scott's affairs, and she was the one by his side when he nabbed the WCW World Title. That's why many fans point to her as Steiner's chief valet and completely forget that Shakira was part of his 'freaky' entourage too.
