With 157 matches, Booker T stands proud at the top of this list.

A true company man, Booker is arguably one of the biggest success stories of the Nitro-era of professional wrestling, as he evolved from multi-time tag team champion into the final WCW World Champion in company history. Booker carved out a pretty impressive career for himself in WWE afterwards too, a true legend of professional wrestling.

As expected, Booker's first Nitro match came tagging with his brother Stevie Ray in Harlem Heat, as the duo lost the WCW Tag Team Championships to Marcus Bagwell and Scotty Riggs of the American Males. Bagwell himself just missed out on this list, clocking 98 matches of his own.

Booker's last match came on the very last episode of Nitro, and also saw him win the WCW World Heavyweight Championship in the process, defeating Scott Steiner as we already know.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
