Rodney and Pete Gas were fun for a little bit as The Mean Street Posse, but they overstayed their welcome. The two real-life friends of Shane McMahon had no wrestling training, yet were given a decent sized role on TV that most wrestling hopefuls would have killed for.

They encouraged their buddy on to victory at WrestleMania XV against X-Pac, and that probably should have been the end of it. But it was merely the beginning.

Rodney and Pete Gas started competing in the ring, and were as terrible as one would expect with two guys without experience. When Shane and The Corporation merged with The Ministry of Darkness, they needlessly tagged along.

The Undertaker, Bradshaw, Farooq, Triple H, Chyna, Viscera and...Rodney and Gas? They just didn’t fit the dynamic of the group, and unsurprisingly didn’t last long on their own.

Still, their theme song was kind of catchy.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
