10 Weirdest Real-Life WWE Friendships

1. Melina & Mick Foley

Melina Perez did not have a lot of friends in the WWE locker room in 2006. Having alienated the rest of the locker room with her very real diva-like behaviour. Melina had to be moved from Smackdown to Raw in 2006 to stop the rest of the locker room from kicking her head in. She had one friend backstage, however, in the shape of Mick Foley. The Hardcore Legend took a shine to the ostracised diva and the two became fast friends. Pictures of the two hanging out together outside of the ring were shared online and Foley regularly sang her praises in his blog. His third autobiography, The Hardcore Diaries, at times reads like a love letter to the former MNM manager. It was a little bit weird. Some felt that Foley was acting like a little boy with a crush and couldn't see Melina for what she was (i.e. a nasty piece of work). Foley incorporated their friendship into a storyline, with Mick volunteering to join the Vince McMahon Kiss My Ass Club in order to save Melina's job, only for Melina to turn on Foley and low-blow him. It was a confusing segment, almost as confusing as the Foley/Melina friendship itself.
