10 Weirdest Things WWE Ever BANNED
6. Chris Jericho
Sticking with long-time WWE figures who were ultimately told they weren't welcome anymore, despite making a few unlikely returns to his former workplace since settling down in The Land of All Elite, there was actually a period when Chris Jericho was told he'd been banned from the company formerly led by Vince McMahon.
That's according to Le Champion himself, who revealed back in 2019 that a request to bring in a number of WWE names as guests on his Talk is Jericho podcast was turned down due to it not being "appropriate because you’re in AEW", according to the company, and him being "banned from WWE."
Going further, Jericho would also note how the promotion had taken down some videos of him playing games on UpUpDownDown and even edited things out of the Edge and Christian Show that had his name on it since opting to become All Elite.
Said odd ban can't have lasted all that long, mind, with Jericho eventually rocking up on an episode of "Stone Cold" Steve Austin's Broken Skull Sessions and even producing a tribute video for John Cena that aired during his 20th Anniversary celebration earlier this year.
But for a minute there, Jericho was very much persona non grata in Vinnie Mac's empire.
