10 Weirdest TNA Main Events Ever

1. Dusty Rhodes, Jeff Jarrett, & The Road Warriors vs Triple X & Vince Russo - Weekly PPV #28

Considering he booked himself to win the WCW World Championship, it should come as no surprise that writer Vince Russo had three matches in TNA, all of which were Weekly PPV main events.

The most bonkers has to be the first one, which took place at #28. Russo was part of an eight-man tag where his partners were Triple X (Christopher Daniels, Elix Skipper, and Low Ki). The trio were part of Russo's Sports Entertainment Xtreme faction, or S.E.X, because of course that's what it was called.

Their opponents were Jeff Jarrett and three men who had their heyday in the 1980s, Dusty Rhodes and The Road Warriors. Unfortunately, as Russo didn't get in the ring for the entire match, fans were robbed of the opportunity to see him take a Bionic Elbow or a Doomsday Device.

If all that wasn't enough, S.E.X won the match after a run-in by none other than Nikita Koloff. A baffling combination of young guns, old men, and non-wrestlers, this has got to be one of the weirdest wrestling main events in the history of our great sport.
