10 Weirdest Wrestling Cameos In Music Videos

3. Bill Goldberg - Megadeth

Megadeth are widely considered as one of the pioneers of thrash metal in the US. However, their 1999 album, Risk, failed to impress both critically and commercially. Nevertheless, the lead single for that album, "Crush 'Em", was still used as the soundtrack for the Jean Claude Van Damme movie, Universal Soldier: The Return.

"Cool story, bro..." I hear you say, but this is where the wrestling comes in. Bill Goldberg also starred alongside Van Damme in the Universal Soldier movie. As a result, Goldberg also wound up in the music video for "Crush 'Em" and plays a pretty big part in the video.

The video shows the band playing on the set of the actual movie, as Goldberg roams around, generally looking like the badass he is; meanwhile, Van Damme shadow boxes for the camera and shows off his martial arts skills. Pretty sweet gig for all concerned really. Given that Goldberg has often been accused of being "robotic" in the ring, he's perfectly cast in the role of a cyborg here. He also plays back up singer for the band during the chorus, which is a sight in itself.

Veteran gaming fans may also recognise the "Crush 'Em" song from the original Ultimate Fighting Championship game for the Sony PlayStation and Sega Dreamcast back in 2000. Sadly, Goldberg did not feature in either version.
