10 Weirdest WWE Alumni Trainwrecks

3. Sunny

If there€™s any form of media rivalry for the title of WWF/E Diva who€™s gone off the rails hardest and heaviest since departing the company, Tamara €˜Sunny€™ Sytch has to edge it out over Chyna. Originally joining the company with her high school boyfriend Chris Candido, Sunny soon eclipsed him in popularity and television time. Candido left the WWF in 1996, but Sunny€™s star was still rising€ until the arrival of Sable, Sunny was the hottest thing going in the WWF, appearing on the cover of magazines, and seemingly booked into every other midcard angle on TV. It€™s amazing how badly downhill things can go. Amid whispers, then shouts of frequent, significant drug abuse €“ prescription and otherwise €“ Sunny has since rattled through a short career in ECW, WCW and the independents, acquiring a freefall reputation for being damaged and unreliable. The hugely underrated Candido died, tragically, in 2005 following complications from surgery, but Sunny was falling apart long before. She€™s collapsed and been removed from events, hotels and drinking establishments for serious intoxication numerous times; she€™s been arrested more than once. Notorious indie wrestler New Jack even claimed that she asked him to kill an allegedly abusive ex-boyfriend; something she denies, but it€™s testament to the reputation Sytch had attracted that people were tempted to believe it. Apparently turning down Playboy during her WWF run, in the twenty-first century Sytch poses for photos €˜in bed€™ with fans and works as a cam girl, earning money through expensive Skype-sex sessions with smitten Attitude Era wrestling fanboys. Scuttlebutt (like gossip running off a cliff into the ocean) is that Sunny is now intending to begin a professional career in pornography. There shouldn€™t be any stigma in 2015 about a woman in her early forties choosing to enter a second career as a sex worker€ but everyone who remembers the breath of fresh summertime air that hit the WWF twenty years ago hopes and prays that she€™s doing it for the right reasons, and not as yet another symptom of a trainwreck life.
