1. The Young Bucks Got Heat From Booker T
Before they became EVPs of All Elite Wrestling, Matt and Nick Jackson, The Young Bucks, made strides in NJPW, ROH, and other independent promotions. Like most emerging wrestlers, they attempted to get a WWE contract during their early years and attended a tryout. Unfortunately, the tryout did not go as planned, leading to an unexpected confrontation with WWE legend and Hall of Famer Booker T.
While talking to Booker T in episode 177 of Heated Conversations, "The Young Bucks" recalled the incident at the WWE tryout. Two incidents reportedly took place that day, with the first one being the duo not shaking hands with Booker T backstage, and the second was for inadvertently sitting on the latter's jacket.
Nick Jackson stated that he and his brother were walking on eggshells and didn't know what to do at the time, since they were in the early stages of their careers, and decided to stay out of the way to avoid accidentally disrespecting anyone. Apart from a few appearances as enhancement talent for WWE, the duo didn't get signed to a proper contract and had to hone their craft in the independent circuit to reach the position they're in today.
