10 Wild Outside Bets To Win WWE Royal Rumble 2021

2. Brock Lesnar

Brock Lesnar would appear to have served his ultimate function.

Vince never did fancy pulling the trigger on the big Roman Reigns babyface victory at WrestleMania after three full years with which to get the redemption storyline right. Amusingly, he asked Brock to do the job for Drew McIntyre within five minutes after scanning the RAW quarter hours late in December and determining that the Sexy Scotsman had marginally outdrawn Aleister Black. Lesnar put a top babyface over, and that top babyface embarked on a very respectable run.

Would Lesnar come back to the ThunderDome set-up?

He'd work Five Star Wrestling if they've chucked him seven figures, so there shouldn't be a problem. But maybe he just can't be a*sed. There are few better suited to living under lockdown than the noted recluse.

Vince hasn't made any overtures to Brock, or at least any that the wrestling media is aware of. This is the furthest away he's felt from WWE which, astonishingly, has continued to bury several if not most of its talents without the resident boogeyman hardcore fans used to blame. He could always come back in a shocker to avenge this year's loss, and carry out his promos via Zoom, but one suspects he's too busy vibing on the farm with a lockdown 'tache.

There is exponentially more space in which to avoid the family, too, so it's a more appealing prospect for him than most.
