5. Double Yokozuna Bonus Slide

Vince Russo had two ideas for Yokozuna's presence on Shotgun Saturday Night - again, according to Jim Cornette. One of them was actually half-decent, and the other, astonishingly, was as a racist as sh*t.

The first involved a fan competition to guess Yokozuna's weight. The correct answer was "Whatever Vince McMahon decided was most impressive on any given night without drawing the attention of state athletic commissions," but nonetheless, whomever was to come closest to the answer would be awarded a prize.

Go on.

Guess the prize.

Guess the most racist prize you can think of.

Wrong - not racist enough - it was actually a sushi dinner!

The other idea was significantly less problematic and actually, earnestly very good: several pasty, skinny jobbers would step on a scale, and when their total combined mass equalled Yoko's, they would collectively take him on. Honestly, that seems like tremendous value: it would have put over what an unreal physical specimen Yokozuna was while, at the same time, promising a unique squash match not unlike those that convinced the wrestling fandom that Ryback was awesome in 2012.
