Look back to the glory days of Monday Night Raw, and the show had an awesome introduction, one which really set the tone for what viewers were about to see and had the blood pumping in even the most jaded of fans. Fast-forward to now, and that same rule doesn't really apply - there's likely even handfuls of casual fans who don't know what the Raw theme is. Needless to say, that's not good. The introduction to any WWE show has always been about pomp and circumstance, getting people excited for what the program may have in store. Nowadays, that's not really the case, Monday Night Raw does still have pyro, loud music and other elements it should, but there's something missing that's hard to put a finger on. Remember the excellent chugging riff of the Attitude Era which would accompany the explosions, roaring crowd and the announcers welcoming fans to the broadcast? Where is that same thrill? It's missing in action, and needs to make a come back. Sure, WWE is a different product now than it was 15 years ago, but that doesn't mean it can't still have excitement.
