10 Women Who Could Be WWE's Sister Abigail

2. Saraya Knight

Let's go back to Paige for a second. A huge amount of people have speculated that she will eventually be revealed as Sister Abigail, citing her vaguely alternative look and original anti-diva stance. Of course, general logic dictates that Paige couldn't be Sister Abigail unless the body of Paige merely acted as the vessel for the spirit of Sister Abigail, something that might anger Alberto Del Rio right now.

Paige is way too young to actually be Sister Abigail too. Now, if Paige was maybe 20 years old, a little scarier and way more violent, I could get behind the idea a little more. Oh wait, how about Paige's mum?

Paige's mother is no ordinary mother. Saraya Knight is as legendary as any other female wrestler one cares to think of. Still performing at an incredible high level, it is a little surprising that she hasn't been brought into the company to work with her daughter as of yet. If she was ever going to come in, the role of Sister Abigail is nigh on perfect for Sweet Saraya.

The real-life story mimics the canon. Saraya ran away from neglectful and abusive parents, living on the streets and getting involved in some less-than-savoury habits. Salvation came after a stomach pumping, and Saraya found life in professional wrestling.

Not many wrestlers on the planet deserve a chance at one WWE run more than Sweet Saraya Knight. She is absolutely the best choice to play a physical Sister Abigail, if such a thing must exist.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
