If you recall the period in 2009 when WWE brought in guest hosts to Raw nearly every week, a common theme week after week was to have the Bellas in backstage segments with them. It's understandable because they're good looking twins. However, those segments also looked incredibly awkward since they don't come off as natural actresses. Since they turned babyface, they don't get to have as many backstage segments because as we all know WWE hates giving their divas a chance to actually do worthwhile things. Think back to that famous AJ Lee promo last year where she was ripping on the Total Divas and then the Bellas were on camera screaming at the top of their lungs. It just looked bad. This past week on Raw, Brie Bella was seen screaming for about two minutes straight as Kane tried to get her and Daniel Bryan. That's what she was instructed to do, but it's not like it was visually appealing or made people want to watch the show. It made viewers want to turn it off. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NL7Opwc0VYo I'm not afraid to admit that I watch Total Divas and it's easy to see that the Bella Twins both look much more comfortable when they're on that show. That's proof that when they're put on WWE TV and told to play a character that they have a tough time grasping what they're supposed to. Brie's a very likable woman, but as performers on WWE TV they're clearly better as heels.
