Jon Heidenreich was a former football player that signed with WWE in his early 30s. He was billed at 6'8" and 305 pounds. He wasn't big enough to be billed as a giant, but he was bigger than the average wrestler and big enough that it allowed him to stand out. He had a few different runs in WWE with Paul Heyman managing him at one point, then he became a creepy heel that read poems while forming a friendship with Gene Snitsky and then he became a part of the new Legion of Doom with Animal. The final run was as a babyface. He actually showed decent potential with Animal and they actually won the tag titles in July of 2005, but it didn't last too long for them. When WWE has big guys that are limited as performers they don't care if they failed as one gimmick. They usually get another chance or three like Heidenreich did. It's hard to remember good matches that he had because there really weren't that many. At least the effort was there with him. He seemed like he cared about it for the three years he was there. Remember that time when it looked like he raped Michael Cole backstage? Not a career highlight. Trust us, we wish we could forget it too.
