10 Worst Cruiserweight Champions Ever

7. Christian

By far the most successful name on this list Christian has won every single€™s title available to him during his WWE tenure. A lot of his reigns have been memorable; his sole reign as the WWE Light-Heavyweight Champion however was a major disappointment. After winning the title on his WWE debut, the future World Champion competed in just three matches in the space of two months before losing the title due to outside interference. If unfortunate as all the signs were there for what could have been an entertaining title run. Christian came to the WWE with a reputation as one of the premier independent wrestlers in America. His initial gimmick as part of the Brood is one of the most fondly remembered of the Attitude Era. The man Christian beat for the title, Taka Michinoku would have been a prime candidate for his first feud. Whilst never considered one of the shows featured acts, Michinoku had carved out a small following on the under-card thanks to an eleven month title reign which produced one great match after another. In the end none of this was ever meant to be. During his days as Light-Heavyweight Champion Christian never even had a singles match outside of the WWE€™s B-Show Sunday Night Heat.
