Arguably the most accomplished female wrestler of the mid 80s and early 90s, Madusa holds the distinction of being the first women to hold the WCW Cruiserweight Championship. After paying her dues in the AWA and Japan as both a wrestler and manager, Madusa would have significant stints in both WCW and WWE, in the process earning the status as perhaps the best female wrestler in America. Despite this by the time 1999 rolled around her role in WCW was reduced to competing in evening gown matches and featuring as part of a three women entourage for Macho Man Randy Savage. Not deterred the WCW brain trust thought it would be a good idea to put its once prestigious Cruiserweight Championship on Madusa. The way she would capture the Championship was ludicrous even by professional wrestling standards. The man she would defeat, Evan Karagias just happened to be Madusas onscreen boyfriend. Inexplicably the couple would be pitted against each other in a title match; possibly some strange form of couples counselling? During the match Madusa would begin making out with Karagias and then mounted him. Clearly overcome by the PG-13 Dry Humping, Karagias accidently allowed his shoulders to touch the mat and get counted down. The first Championship victory by way of a simulated sex act, with ideas like this its no wonder WCW went out of business.
