You'd be hard-pressed to find a hotter act in WWE this year than "The Fiend" Bray Wyatt. From the Firefly Fun House to his hot return to Raw over the summer, everything he touched turned to gold.

He only had one match under his belt before rumors started to circulate that he was pegged to contend for Seth Rollins' Universal Championship at Hell in a Cell. It was eventually made official, and considering the feud was just getting underway, it was ridiculous for them to face off inside the demonic structure so soon.

That didn't stop WWE from booking the bout, fueling speculation that Wyatt was one win away from becoming a world champion again. Anticipation was at an all-time high ahead of the event, though it was all downhill once red lighting dimmed the ring.

Rollins hit Wyatt with everything in his arsenal (including multiple Curb Stomps), but The Fiend powered out every time. WWE essentially sent the message that The Fiend could endure anything. Rollins decided to put that to the test by blasting Wyatt with a (protected) sledgehammer shot to the face.

At that point, the referee felt he had seen enough and rang the bell, causing the match to uneventfully end in a no contest. We're over a week removed from the show and Rollins is still dealing with backlash from fans.

WWE has now gone two straight years with non-finishes in their Hell in a Cell main event. Here's hoping that's enough of a reason for the company to do away with the event forever.
