10 Worst Ever WWE Comebacks

9. Scott Hall (2002)

When the original nWo returned to WWE in February 2002, many of the backstage power players were understandably worried. After all, these were the three guys that did much to aide in the destruction of WCW with the self-serving backstage behaviour and short-sighted booking decisions. People knew about Hogan and his politics and, although Nash was a question mark, he still had his fair share of supporters in the back (including Triple H). Hall was the one that needed to be watched, however, since most weren't sure whether or not he had overcome his 'personal demons' (he hadn't). Hall didn't take long to prove himself a nuisance. Da Bad Guy had to be dragged off to his hotel room at the post-No Way Out Raw taping when he was acting the fool and then at the Smackdown taping the next day he angered the Dudley Boys by saying something to the effect of 'the 3D is a nice finisher...I can't wait to kick out of it' before walking away, laughing to himself. In the ring, Hall wasn't the performer he once was, and his biggest achievement was his totally ordinary WrestleMania X-8 match with Steve Austin, which was a waste of the Texas Rattlesnake. Hall was fired by the company following the post-WrestleMania UK tour, which featured the infamous Plane Ride From Hell (during which Hall and Curt Hennig played a prank with shaving cream, before Hall passed out drunk).
