10. Triple H Is The Terminator

Hey, could you tell that Wrestlemania 31 was being sponsored by the new Terminator movie? The signs were admittedly pretty difficult to spot. Arnie was being inducted into the Hall of Fame that year so I think the commentators mentioned it once or twice there. I think there was a Terminator Genisys graphic that appeared on the screen at some point. Oh yeah, and then there was this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2aWfWIgSj_o Triple H's entrance, which felt like it took longer to watch than Terminator 2 in its entirety, went on for nauseating 4 minutes. Everyone knew that Trips was going to go all out with his entrance, like his skull king thing at Wrestlemania 30, but this was solid unintentional comedy gold. As the Terminator theme plays, Triple H rises from the ground wearing what can only be described as some sort of robot half-poncho. He stands there looking terrible as Arnie informs us that it's time to play the game. HHH is then handed a bouquet of terminator skulls, as all the while his opponent Sting looks on having horrible flashbacks to the time he was saved by Robocop (more on that later). There were all sorts of things wrong with this, not least of which the Terminator skull hat making Triple H look like he was wearing really elaborate orthodontic headgear. It was cheesy, completely unrelated to the feud and made everyone in the crowd weary before the match even began.
