When Triple H was the leader of DX, he was making some fashion decisions to indicate a change in character, a more authoritative type of Triple H. Hed start wearing a black leather jacket over his t-shirt and with him being the biggest member of the group in terms of stature, it made him look like the boss of the group. It escalated into the backwards cap that you can see above. Gone were the days of bum bags (fanny packs to our US readers) and zuba trousers now, it was the era of the backwards cap. Only with Triple H being so jacked, he just looked a bit like he was auditioning to be a bouncer for New Kids On The Block.
