10 Worst Finishers In WWE Today

7. The Khallas

Jinder Mahal needed something to justify his bizarre and ultimately destructive run with the WWE Championship.

As cynical as it was alienating - this development to many fans symbolised WWE's complete contempt for artistry, continuity and the very lineage of the title - Jinder stood little chance. As basic as a pro wrestler gets, Mahal was far closer to Florida Championship Wrestling than the main event of WrestleMania - and while his Khallas finisher isn't Saxtonation bad, it is about as impotent as Byron Saxton's commentary. This finisher only underscored how unsuitable Mahal was for the role.

Very inconsistent in his application of the cobra clutch slam - he botched the hell out of it at SummerSlam '17, against Shinsuke Nakamura, in a poetic indictment of just how wrong the whole farce was - when Jinder does apply it correctly, it's still a deeply basic slam. isn't too dissimilar to the Rock Bottom; the hook of the arm is designed to trap the arm of the opponent and the breath of the audience, before the slam encourages the pop.

But it isn't the Rock Bottom because the act doesn't possess anywhere near the same gravitas, and so it is, instead, an incompetent and primitive slam more emblematic of the performer than the performer would like.
