10 Worst Heel Turns In WWE History

7. Mark Henry (1999)

'The World's Strongest Man' Mark Henry has had his fair share of turns over the years. Some have been considerably awesome, like the 2013 heel turn in which he teased his in-ring retirement only to destroy John Cena with a World's Strongest Slam. But he has also been involved in some notably lacklustre turns as well. Such as his heel turn in 1999. Henry and D'Lo Brown were in the midst of a solid push as a tag team until a knee injury sidelined the former Olympian. Upon his return, Brown insisted that his buddy go through the necessary steps and work hard in order to lose weight gained while on the bench. This did not sit well with Henry, who showed up at SummerSlam and shocked the world by betraying his buddy during a European and Intercontinental Championship match against Jeff Jarrett. What should have led to a sustained midcard push instead lasted all of two months before Henry did an about face and found himself engaged in a comical relationship with the elderly Mae Young. Hardly the result Henry or WWE creative would have hoped for.
