10 Worst PPV Endings In WWE History

6. Bam Bam Bigelow Vs Lawrence Taylor - WrestleMania 11

Remember Big Show vs Floyd Mayweather at WrestleMania 24? That was a decent celebrity match, certainly nothing offensive. Both men worked to mask the non-wrestler's obvious limitations and Floyd turned in a surprisingly good performance. Now imagine that this match was the main event of the whole show. And Mayweather went over clean. You've got Lawrence Taylor vs Bam Bam Bigelow at WrestleMania 11. NFL star Taylor began a feud with Bigelow after a scuffle at the Royal Rumble, in which Bam Bam shoved LT in his ringside seat. Amazingly, and perhaps showing the insecurity of a company unwilling to move on from the glitzy Hogan era, the rivalry resulted in a headlining match at WrestleMania. Although celebrities have always been involved with 'Mania, this was - and still is - and unprecedented move for the WWE. The match wasn't the best - although Taylor proved able enough to prevent a complete disaster - but the finish was ridiculous, with LT pinning a recognised wrestler clean after a forearm smash from the second rope. This one is curiously brushed over in discussions about the worst WrestleMania main events of all time. Perhaps people misremember Michaels vs Diesel as the last match of the night, or maybe the relatively excited reaction has painted it in a more generous light. Either way, the fact remains that a non-wrestling celebrity headlined the biggest show of the year and neutered an established threat by beating him clean as a whistle. http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x65lzr_wrestlemania-xi-lawrence-taylor-vs_sport
